Donald Charlebois Sr., of Braintree, formerly of South Boston, Feb. 6, 2013, at the age of 70. Former husband of Margaret Margie (Bosse) Charlebois. Loving father of Christine Brennan and her husband Jay of Holbrook, Donald Charlebois and his Fianc Glaziele Dasilva of Boston, Robert Charlebois and his wife Mindie of Marshfield and Jason Charlebois of South Boston. Dear grandfather of Jake and Sam Brennan of Holbrook, Ayva and Alyssa Charlebois of Marshfield and Donald R. Charlebois Jr. of Boston. Devoted brother of Sonny Charlebois of Dorchester, Carol Charlebois of Hull, the late Jo-Jo Charlebois, Robert Charlebois and Danny Charlebois. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Donald grew up in Roxbury and joined the US Army Airborne in 1964 and served during the Vietnam War. Donald was a Graphic Arts Finisher and the founder of Trade Bindery of So. Boston. After Donalds retirement in 1995 he continued working with his children in their new family business; Superior Bindery. Donald loved going to the gym, loved the beach, and the sun and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He never missed basketball games, hockey games, soccer games, gymnastics and loved every single minute of it. Donald was proud of his children and what they have become and without Don Sr. there would be no Superior Bindery. Don paved the way for his children, which made them the people as well as the parents they are today. Dons friend and ex-wife Margie, friend first, was with him to the very end. We will miss his pocket full of cough drops and his famous red sauce. Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a Dad. Donald will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, Braintree until 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington Street, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 | 8 p.m. Burial will be private. Don, I just found out yesterday about you leaving us. We haven't seen each other in some years, but your name pops up every now and then, and brings back some great memories, along with some great laughs. Look, the end of one journey is the beginning of another, and we'll meet again for some more laughs. 'Til then, Via Con Dios.
