Eugene S. Lee Sr. of Hull, a retired Boston Police Officer, passed away in his home April 25, 2012. He was 82. Beloved husband of Linda L. (Lank) Lee, he was the devoted father of Eugene Lee Jr., Russell Lee, Gerald Lee, Ronald Lee, Colleen Thirdgill, Christopher Hill and Ellys Lee; stepson of Edward Perrelli; brother of Louise Cephus. Also survived by 24 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Until his retirement in 1988, Eugene completed his 32-year career as a Boston Police Officer. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing football and was also well known for being a fast pitcher in his softball games. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure knowing him and also had such a great sense of humor. Eugene was a member of the Boston Policeman Patrolman's Association and was also a veteran serving with the U.S. Coast Guard. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. Funeral services will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. Burial will be private.
