Francis J. Frank Derwin of Quincy, died April 17, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Eileen (Hurley), he was the loving father of Christine Keefe and her husband Robert of Salem, Paul Derwin and his wife Luba, and Patricia Mattar, all of Brockton; brother of James Derwin of Plymouth and the late William, Edward, Mary and Jackie. Also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Frank was a Teamster for Local 25 for over 40 years until his retirement. He had also worked for over 20 years in the maintenance department at Quincy Youth Arena. He was also a former president of the Mass Chapter of Civilian Conservation Corp for many years, as well as sponsored the bill along with Michael Morrissey making March 31 CCC Day, a longtime member of the Silver Harred Legislators. Frank was also a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, followed by his funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
