Obituary Condolences

Harold Hoffman, 85, longtime resident of Holbrook, entered into rest Jan. 27, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn M. (Smith) Hoffman, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage; devoted father of Steven D. Hoffman and his wife Mary Beth of Manchester, Conn., James W. Hoffman and his wife Holly of Carver and Elissa A. Cohen and her husband Michael of Stoughton; cherished grandfather of Scott, Bryan and wife Eileen, Kevin and wife Caroline, Adam, Rachel, Kyle, Joshua and Jessica; proud great-grandfather of Katelyn, Emma, Claire and Dylan. He was a founding member of Temple Beth Shalom in Holbrook. He was a Jewish War veteran with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington St., Canton. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva will be at the home of Elissa and Michael Cohen Tuesday following services and also Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Temple Beth Shalom, P.O.
