Harold Pearl of Quincy, died Feb. 4, 2014, at 98 years young. Harold proudly served his country as a United States Merchant Marine as an Army transport aboard The Thomas H. Barry. Harold attended Hebron Academy, Ohio State University, University of Pennsylvania and Boston University Law School with an LLB degree. He was the owner of the Clam and Chicken House in Norwood and retired as the sales manager of Grossmans in Braintree. He and his wife traveled extensively and enjoyed wintering in Naples, Fla. He enjoyed playing golf at the President's Golf Course in Quincy, where he had the great experience of a hole-in-one. Harold will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Adoring husband of 71 years of the late Dorothy Pearl (McDevitt), he was the beloved father of Jeffrey Pearl of Florida, Dennis Pearl of Orleans, Heidi Pearl of Quincy, and the late Hayden Pearl; Papa of Eden Pearl, Heidi Becker, Adam Pearl, Haley Pearl, Lauren Anastasia, Elise Pearl and Devin Anastasia; great-grandfather of 4; loving son of the late Etta (Mover) Pearl and Morey Pearl. Donations in memory of Harold may be made to Interfaith Social Services of Quincy.
