Henrietta (Pagnano) Volpe of Quincy died Thursday, March 21, at the John Scott Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Braintree. She was 85 years old and the beloved wife of the late William P. Volpe. Born in Quincy, Sept. 8, 1927, she was the loving daughter of the late Loreto and Leona (Petrelli) Pagnano. Mrs. Volpe was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1945. She was a longtime communicant of St. Marys Church and member of their Senior Citizens Club. She was very active along with her husband in the Quincy VFW and ran their lottery for many years and was an avid bowler and vice president of the Pin Ups Bowling league. Mrs. Volpe was the loving mother of Cheryl Casey, her husband Arthur, and their children, Brieanna, Ryan and Gail Casey, as well as William Volpe Jr., his wife Gail, and their son, William Volpe III. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends. Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy, Monday, March 25, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church, 95 Crescent St., Quincy, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
