Jane was stricken seriously ill March 17, and had been slowly recovering at Life Care Center in Scituate. Born Dec. 22, 1939, in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late John J. Creedon and Lauretta (Mackin) Creedon. After graduating from Brockton High School in 1957, she earned both a bachelor's of Arts and a master's of Education degree from Bridgewater University. Both before and during her retirement, Jane enjoyed traveling with family and school associates. Her travels included numerous cruises with school associates and several to Europe with family. She especially enjoyed her trips to Ireland. As much as she enjoyed her trips, the joy of her life were her numerous nieces and nephews living locally, in New York, and Southern California. Aunt Jane treasured them as if they were her own and cherished every minute with them. Jane leaves her twin sister, Margaret J. Cahill and her husband John of Scituate; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary, and brothers, David, John, and Edward Creedon. Family and friends are welcome to gather Saturday, July 27, at St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean St., Marshfield, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
