John Joseph Keane Jr. "Jack", 72, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2013. Mr. Keane was born on January 9, 1940 in Oswego, NY. He had been a resident of Sebastian, FL for the past 10 years originally from Weymouth, MA. Before retirement he worked as a Boilermaker for Local 29 in Quincy MA for 30 years in the construction industry. After retirement, he worked for Publix Supermarkets in Sebastian for 6 years, retiring from Publix in 2012. Mr. Keane proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the St. Sebastian Knights of Columbus Council 8009. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Patricia E. Keane (Ford), Sebastian, FL, sons John J. Keane III, Tampa, FL, James P. Keane, St. Petersburg, FL and sister Margaret A. Keane of New Port Richie, FL, numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Memorial visiting hours will be held Wednesday, April 24 at the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rt. 28) Randolph from 6pm-8pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Graveside memorial service and interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA, Thursday, April 25 at 2:30pm.
