John T. Brignoli of Marshfield, passed away April 22, 2014, at the age of 76, surrounded by his loving family. John served in the U.S. Marines and was a retired Boston firefighter. He was the beloved husband of Leslie J. (Leavitt) Brignoli; loving father of Terry Sjoo- Brignoli of Plymouth, Brenda Parsons and her husband Richard of Wareham, Debbi Reilly and her husband Matt of N.H., John Brignoli of Dartmouth and Jill Farrell and her husband Noel of Marshfield; loving grandfather of 10; and great-grandfather of 2; son of the late John and Ena (Kingston) Brignoli; dear brother of twin sister, Ena Marie Boire of South Boston and the late Gloria Fitzmaurice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, in Marshfield, Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held in North River Community Church, 334 Old Oak St., in Pembroke, Monday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be held in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, at 1:30 p.m. Contributions in Johns memory may be made to Autism Speaks, Attn: Russ Kenn, Executive Director, 85 Devonshire St., 9th floor, Boston, MA 02109.
