Judith Ann (Crombie) Cross, of Houghs Neck, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died July 23, 2014, at the age of 69. Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Quincy. A life member of the former Bryant V.F.W. Post Quincy and an avid bingo player, she was involved in club activities for over 25 years with the Quincy Yacht Club. Judy enjoyed her annual trips with the girls to Atlantic City for over 25 years. Judith worked as an office manager at Bennett Management Corp. and Chenette Plumbing and Heating Co. She also worked part time as a bartender and waitress for many years. Judith is survived by her beloved children, Ralph Rick Cross, James Cross and his wife Nancy, Cheryl Brolin and her husband David and Deborah Hennessey and her husband William all of Quincy, Richard Schlager Jr. of Pembroke, Michael Schlager, Kevin Gray and Kelly Schlager all of Colo., and the late Robert Schlager; devoted grandmother of Eric, Krysta, Richie, Daniel, David, Jon, Alyssa, Ryan and Grace; beloved life partner for over 40 years to the late Richard James Schlager; loving sister of Raymond of Quincy, Ronald of Hingham, Russell of Quincy, Randall, Roy both of Fla., Jeanne Gunning of Quincy, Joanne Boyden, Patricia Brightman both of Fla., and the late Robert Crombie, Richard Crombie and Janet Wilson.
