Paul W. Weaver, age 92, entered into eternal life March 30, 2013. Paul was born and raised in Itasca, Texas, and had lived in Braintree for 56 years. Mr. Weaver was a World War II Coast Guard veteran. Mr. Weaver owned and operated Weaver Foreign motors in Braintree for seven years. He was considered an expert technician in the repair of Jaguar, Mercedes, and BMW automobiles. Prior to that , he was a senior automotive technician for Foreign Motors of Boston and Woburn Foreign Motors. In his retirement, he enjoyed car restoration and boating. Paul was a member of the Braintree Yacht Club , where he served as a steward for several years. Beloved husband of Alice M. (Duffney), he was the devoted father of Paul C. Weaver and his wife Melanie of Douglassville, Pa., and the late Maryalice Weaver who passed away in January; beloved brother of Thomas of Fort Worth, Texas, Winnie Faye Williams of Fort Worth, Charlie Joe of Oklahoma City, Okla., the late James, Henry Duke, Mattie Mae Strickland; loving grandfather of Kennedy and Emerson Weaver. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington. St., Weymouth, Thursday, April 4, at 10 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:30 p.m.
