Obituary Condolences

William Joseph, born April 10, 1917, in Bridgeport, Conn., passed away peacefully Feb. 14, 2013, in Scituate. Son of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Teshkowski) Gall of Slovakia, he was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Veronica Vicky Hornyak Gall; and his grandson, Ryan Flannery. He is survived by his son, William J. Gall; daughter-in-law, Suzanne; and granddaughter, Erika of West Haven, Conn.; and his daughter, Lynn (Gall) Flannery; son-in-law, Sean; and grandchildren, Griffin, Honor and Tess Flannery of Scituate; and dear friends, Josie and Gino DiGirolamo of Pembroke. Mr. Gall served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army in World War II in North Africa and Italy and was the recipient of two bronze stars for meritorious service. Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours Monday, Feb. 18, from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, followed by a Mass of Christian burial which will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Nativity at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Scituate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills name to the Friends of Scituate Recreation, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Hwy., Scituate, MA 02066.
