Ernie Cline

SPARTANBURG, SC-- Earnest Owens Cline, 66, of 2768 Cowpens Pacolet Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Norfolk, VA, he was the husband of Judy Crocker Cline and was the son of the late David Coleman Cline and Dorothy White Cline. Mr. Cline was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and Spartanburg Technical College, retired from Parker-Hannifin, and worked for Arrow Automotive for 25 years. He loved motorcycles, was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and was a member of Blue Branch Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, David Mack Cline and wife, Kandi, of Gaffney; two daughters, Jennifer Cline Nesbitt of Spartanburg and Brianna Synclaire Cline of the home; a brother, David Ray Cline and wife, Mary, of Spartanburg; a grandson, Brennan Jerome (B.J.) Nesbitt; special friends, Rev. Eddie Smith, Steve Jenkins and Amanda Lawter. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Thomas Lee Cline.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Blue Branch Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at the Church with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Blue Branch Baptist Church, "Youth and Children Fund", P.O. Box 1574, Gaffney, SC 29342.
The family will be at the residence, 2768 Cowpens Pacolet Road, Spartanburg.
