Johnny Huffstetler

GAFFNEY, SC-- John Jacob Huffstetler, 91, of 510 S. Limestone Street, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Eunice Blanton Huffstetler and was the son of the late Jacob Andrew and Mammie Moore Huffstetler. Mr. Huffstetler retired from the City of Gaffney after serving for 50 years as a fireman, was a Mason, Shriner and was the oldest member of the Cherokee Shrine Club. He was a U.S. Army veteran and attended North Point Church.
In addition to his wife, also surviving are two sons, Jay Huffstetler and wife, Vicki of Gaffney and Jed Huffstetler of Gaffney; a sister, Juanita Pettit and husband, Niles of Gaffney; a grandson, Phillip Plaxico Huffstetler and wife, Tiffany. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence (Tiger) Huffstetler and Herman Huffstetler and three sisters, Sara Clary, Patsy Richardson and Lucille Mosley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM on Monday, March 11, 2013 at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jack Phillips and Dr. Clyde Thomas officiating.

The family will be at the residence, 510 S. Limestone Street, Gaffney.
