Mamie Wilson Condrey|
CHESNEE, SC-- Mamie Nola Wilson Condrey, 66, loving wife of Steve Condrey of 582 Thorn Cove Drive, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 30, 2012.
Born January 2, 1947, in Rutherford County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Wilson and Mary Koone Wilson. She was a former school teacher and social worker and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Condrey enjoyed traveling with her husband with a few of her favorite places to visit being Ireland, Honolulu and London. She also enjoyed listing to the Beach Boys music.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Heather Condrey Gentolizo and husband Emil of Chesnee; and a grandson, Liam Edward Condrey.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee. A memorial service will follow at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Bob Munson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully ask that memorials be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc., PO Box 418629, Boston, MA 02241-8629.
