Beverly Jean Cartwright-Semple passed away November 10th in Coeur 'd Alene, Idaho, at the age of 65 after a long battle of breast cancer and COPD. Born to Betty and Dewey Cartwright Sr. on October 24th, 1947 in Leckie, W. Va. The family moved to California in 1962, where Beverly attended Walker High School in Buena Park. Beverly and family moved to Sandpoint, Idaho in 1980, where she met and married the love of her life, Jerry Semple. She was employed at P&E and Litehouse. She relocated to Coeur D Alene with her son Mike and his family in 2010. Bev enjoyed football, reading, puzzles, spending time with family, the outdoors and most of all her Facebook friends and games. Preceded in death by her husband (Jerry Semple) of 25 years, father Dewey Sr., her brothers Dewey Jr. and John Cartwright. She was survived by her mother, Betty Cartwright, sisters Mary (Steve) Routhier, Janice (Bruce) White and Pamela (Ron) Alford, Sandy Cartwright (sister-in-law). Brothers Bill and Thomas (Susie) Cartwright. Sons Mark (Dawn) Cartwright of So. CA, Mike (Jennifer) Henley of Cda, daughter Melissa (Cory) Colin of Sagle, ID. The joys of her life her seven grandchildren: Vanessa, Heather, Stephanie, Tyler, Tanner, Parker and Sawyer. She was blessed with numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 17th at 2364 W. Dalton, Cda (Potluck) Memorial donations may be made to the VFW Airway Heights WA, Breast Cancer Fund.
