Medically discharged from the Army on June 5, 1968. He married Lois on November 22, 1969. "I had a hard time adjusting to the way people thought about Vietnam Veterans. Worked as a Custodian, but skilled in all trades. Commanded respect and received the honor of a proud man deserved." "Let no man mourn my passing, I came into this world and have left my footsteps half-way around the world, though I will not be remembered for any earth shattering event, but I hope that what I did in life was of some benefit to someone. I lived my life like I wanted, with its joys, its sorrows, its pain, its disappointments and love. So, let just one person remember me with respect and prind and I will go to my final resting place happy." Potluck memorial service will be on Sunday, August 10th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Camas Valley Grange in Springdale, WA.
