GIBSON, Clinton Brian (Age 41) Of Spokane Washington, died Friday, April 25th, 2014 Clint was born in Astoria, Oregon on March 6th, 1973. One of six children, Clint graduated from Deer Park High school in 1991. In August of 1994 he married Erin Moore. He received his Criminal Justice Degree from Spokane Community College, and from there worked as a reserve officer for the Spokane Police Department until he was hired by the Colfax Police Department. Clint lateralled from the Colfax Police Department to the Liberty Lake Police Department, where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Clint was a dedicated police officer who not only loved his career, but valued each and every member of the police force. In addition to being a sergeant with the police department, Clint was also a firearms instructor, emergency vehicle operations course instructor, and a member of the regional Special Response Team. Clint loved the outdoors, mountain biking, and martial arts. He also enjoyed a fine cigar. Clint is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Erin Gibson, and their four children, Tyler (18), Kate and Abby (16), and Emily (13). Clint is also survived by his parents and five siblings and by his many friends and co-workers. He was dearly loved, and he will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 2nd, at Valley Real Life Church, 1831 South Barker Road, Green Acres, Washington.
