BLAKE, D. George Martin (Age 54) Of Spokane Valley, passed away on August 11, 2013. He was born May 1959 in Moses Lake, WA. George graduated in 1977 from Park Hills High School in Fairborn, OH. He then attended The Ohio State University and obtained degrees in zoology and pharmacy. He loved Ohio State and was a devoted Buckeye. George loved the outdoors; biking, camping and motorcycling, especially with his daughter, Erin. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Blake. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (Pein) Blake; his daughter, Erin Blake; and stepson, Taylor Lukes; sisters, Debi Blake Arnold, Diana Blake Drollinger (Dale); best friends, Lisa and Fred; nieces, Stephanie Balsom (Eric), and Audrey Balsom; and nephews, Blake Arnold (Stephanie), and Preston Arnold; and numerous cousins, and extended family. A Memorial Service to celebrate George's life will be held on Saturday, August 17th, at 10:30am at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
