KELLY, Kevin T. (Age 75) Passed away October 19th, 2013, in Spokane. He succumbed to the ravages of Alzheimer's disease. Kevin was a son of Judge Raymond F. Kelly and Helen Kelly, nee King. He was born and grew up in Spokane, Washington where he attended St. Aloysius Grade School, Gonzaga Prep, and Gonzaga University. He received his Masters of Social Work from University of Washington, Seattle. He served in the US Army for two years as a Chaplain\uc1\u8217\'92s Assistant beginning in September, 1959. He married a Spokane girl, Nancy Barth in 1964. They moved to Seattle and started their family with the birth of their first son, Andrew Joseph. Their second son, Jamieson Alan, came in 1968 after the family moved to Rapid City, SD. He has two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren living in Germany. He is also survived by his two sons, his former wife, and his sister Sheila Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four older brothers Marcus, Terry, Dennis, and a week prior, Raymond. Kevin made a career of helping others, working in the mental health field in South Dakota and Washington serving the latter state for 19 years. He enjoyed being surrounded by nature and passing time with people he cared about. His gentle, giving nature and indomitable sense of humor will be missed. Rest in peace dear friend, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and brother. A "celebration of life" memorial gathering will be held for friends and family at the Sans Souci West Club House at 3231 West Boone Ave., Spokane, WA 99201 on Saturday, November 2nd from 2:00 to 5:00PM. A private interment service will be held at the WA State Veterans Cemetery.
