WILLIAMS, Larry Lee (Age 83) Of Spokane passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Spokane . Larry was born June 3, 1931 in Coulee City, Washington. His family lived in the Newport, WA, Priest River, ID area for many years. Larry served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years retiring in 1970. He had served in the Korean War and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After retiring from the Navy he attended the University of Washington where he graduated in 1972. Larry is survived by his daughter Verena Lee Weber, a granddaughter Jessie Catherine Weber, a brother Michael (Mike) Williams and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Lee Williams and Jessie (Adams) Williams and his sisters Dolores Krizenesky and Mary Ann Gilchrist. A Graveside service will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 3PM at the Newport Cemetery. SHERMAN-KNAPP FUNERAL HOME in Newport is in charge of arrangements.
