Lisa's first battle with breast cancer started 13 years ago and from that moment she devoted herself tirelessly to conquering this ravaging disease. She formed her own non-profit, Survivor Chick, which she used to help fund many cancer organizations. Along the way she gave countless hours supporting and comforting other women struggling with breast cancer in a way that only Lisa could. Her genuine love and compassion for people endeared herself to so many who call her friend. Lisa's caring nature touched more people than even she could imagine. She was preceded in death by her mother Susan Diane Powers, her father Gayle Harris Gauthun, her brother Guy Harris Gauthun, and her beloved uncle Steve Powers.
