SAULIBIO, Wendy Sue was born on July 29th, 1951. She passed away on July 31st, 2014 peacefully, surrounded by family. Wendy was born in Seattle to Elke & Dorothy Finne. She graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle in 1969. While vacationing in Hawaii, in 1973, she met David Saulibio. Soon after, they fell in love & were married on August 30th, 1974. That same year, she graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma as a nurse, a nurse manager & as the Assistant Human Resources Director in charge of nurse recruitment before multiple sclerosis (MS) forced her into early retirement. Wendy moved with her family to Spokane in 1998. A kind & gentle soul, Wendy was a very brave & courageous person who battled MS for 30 years. She was known for her witty sense of humor, was loved by so many & shall be missed by all. She enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariner's, Seahawks & Notre Dame football. Wendy is survived by her husband (David), children (Elke, Dana & Brandon) & grandchildren (Jae, Braedon, Preston & Aliyha). A memorial service will be held Sat, Aug 9th, 2014 at 1 PM at Colbert Presbyterian Church (4211 E. Colbert Rd, Colbert WA).
