William H.

William "Bill" H. Belton passed away on January 30, 2014. Bill was born January 7, 1948 in Chewelah, Washington and raised by his dad, Delbert Belton, and stepmom, Myrtle. His family moved to the northeastern part of Spokane while he was a young boy. He graduated from John R. Rodgers High School in June 1967 and then joined the U.S. Navy. He served on active duty until 1969 and was transferred into an inactive reservist unit until he received his Honorable Discharge from the Navy. While in the Navy, Bill was stationed at Providence, Rhode Island. This is where he met his wife, Bobbie. They were married on February 7, 1969 and remained married for 45 years. Once they were married, Bill and Bobbie moved to Cochituate, Massachusetts where they lived for two years before moving back to Spokane, Washington. Bill and Bobbie raised two children, Dana and Carlton and then raised their granddaughter, Natasha. Bill was hired into the Kaiser Aluminum Company late in 1972 and worked at the Trentwood Plant for 30 years before retiring. After retiring, Bill enjoyed keeping busy by working various part time jobs. Along with work, Bill also enjoyed his hobbies of working with computers, classic car repair, riding motorcycles, and driving. Bill was diagnosed with multiple cancers in 2009 and fought the hard fight for five years spending a lot of time in various hospitals until the cancers finally won and God decided that it was time to bring Bill home to Him. Bill's Memorial Service to celebrate him and his life will be held on March 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM. It will be in the North Hill Christian Church, located at 4620 North Post Street, Spokane, Washington, 99205; 509-326-5400. Everyone is invited to attend and celebrate Bill's life.
