Carol Sue Hodgman returned to our Lord on January 1, 2013 and was born November 9, 1944 in Stockton California to Edward and Ruth Galvin. Carol gallantly fought breast cancer, beating it in 2009 and lost the battle on January 1, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends.
She preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth (Souvenier) Galvin. Survived by sister, Cindy Galvin of London England; daughter, Tracy (Offermann) Curry; son-in-law, Francis Curry of Spring Texas; granddaughters, Brittany, Briley and Brynlin Curry of Spring Texas; former spouses, Dennis Offermann of Joliet Illinois and Len Hodgman of Joliet Illinois; and numerous friends.
Carol Lived in Joliet Illinois for many years graduating from Joliet Central High school. Moving to Houston Texas in 2000 to be closer to family. Carol worked as a Controller for car dealerships her entire life. She was an inspiration and an instruction book on "how to live life". She was a world traveler visiting well over 30 countries and told her daughter and granddaughters that she was spending their inheritance on them by taking them on travels to create "memories"...she created many memories that will last forever. She was also a masters-level scrap-booker, poker and Bunco player and actively supported cancer awareness through fund-raising and mentorship. Carol will be missed by anyone that knew her.
