News Death Notice

STULTZ, Lewis E. 84, of Springfield, died Tuesday February 19, 2013 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 16, 1928 in Bainbridge, Ohio, the son of John and Gertrude Stultz. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at SPECO for thirty-two years as the "friendly timekeeper." He also volunteered on the Moorefield Township Fire Department for a number of years. Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years Marjorie Mae (Miller) Stultz; son Richard A. Stultz of Springfield; brother, John (Polly) Stultz of Bainbridge; two sisters, Ada (Bill) Jordan of Bainbridge and Ruth (Carl) Litterst of Columbus; grandchildren, Megan (Robert) McGinnis, Matthew Stultz, Katherine Stultz, John Stultz and William Stultz all of Springfield; great-grandsons, Logan and William McGinnis; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law; daughter-in-law Debra Stultz and half-siblings, Minnie, Lillian and Robert. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday February 24, 2013 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Rev.
