Charles E. "Chuck" Johnson, beloved first born son of Charles E. and Carolyn A. Johnson, slipped quietly away while with family on Thanksgiving evening, Nov. 22, 2012, at the age of 54. God sent Chuck"s "special angel" to carry him home where he can now walk freely again!

Along with his loving parents, Chuck also leaves his sister, Sherri Lynne. He was preceded in death by his adoring younger brother, Marc Vaughn, and much loved niece, Cierra Lyn Coleman.

In addition, he leaves behind many deeply loved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chuck had the gift of never meeting a stranger and always sharing a joke, thereby touching countless lives during his lifetime. To know him was to love him!

He will be sadly missed by so many "special friends," including Ocean Gallery owners and staff where he worked for over 25 years. He has lived in St. Augustine, Fla., since the 1980s. He grew up and attended school in Dayton, Ohio, where he worked for General Motors for 11 years.

Each of our lives are enriched by having known Chuck. The privilege was ours to have loved and been loved by him.

You will forever live in our hearts, Chuck! We were so privileged by the gift of your life.

Now do what you do bestÉ go catch the biggest fish yet!

Sadly missed, Dad, Mom and Sherri (Nikki and Izzy miss you, too).
