Robert H. "Bob" Williams, 76, of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 27, 2012.

Bob was born on July 1, 1936, in Waycross, Ga. He graduated from Waycross High School in 1953 and the University of Georgia in 1969. He joined the U.S. Army in 1954 and served honorably during the Korean War.

Bob loved the Georgia Bulldogs. He also enjoyed golf, boating and sharing a meal with friends. More than anything, though, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish and active in the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.

He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Wendy W. Berger (Larry) and Jeni Macomber (Brad); grandchildren, Griffin Berger, Georgia Berger and Addyson Macomber; sisters, Jane McQuaig, Waycross, Ga., (Charles) and Ann Godwin, Gainesville, Fla.; brothers, Bennie Williams, Savannah, Ga. (Sue), Frank Williams, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., (Debra), and John Williams, Ocala, Fla. (Marty); sister-in-law, Beverly Williams, Fairhope, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack L. and Gladys Williams, and brothers, Mack L. Williams Jr. and Richard Williams.

A celebration of Bob"s life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, in Trinity Episcopal Parish. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Music Ministry or Youth Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Parish, 215 St. George Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
