
Thomas Alfred Creedon, 66, Grandon, Fla., died unexpectedly Monday, March 18, 2013, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He was a Navy veteran, serving on the USS Forrestal, Red Ripper Squadron, in the Vietnam era. He received the National Service Defense Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal with Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred F. Creedon and Marion E. Creedon.
Tom enjoyed touring the country on his motorcycle, visiting with family and friends, and was quite the artist and craftsman.
He leaves behind his fiancee, Rachel Hamilton; sons, Thomas Wiggleton (Rina), Che" Creedon (Molly); daughter, Polly Reschke (Bruce); sisters, Lynn Emerson (Daryl), Michele Austin (Phil); and brothers, Jerry Creedon (Bonnie) and Tim Creedon (Cindy); seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at his daughter Polly"s home in Yulee, Fla., Saturday, March 23, 2013, where all family and friends will be welcome. You may contact Jerry for the address.
