Ellsworth F. Benson III. He was born on November 12, 1927 in Raldolph, NE. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, his daughters, Heather and Jill, a sister, Carol Anne, and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Jerry, a sister, Sandra and by his daughter, Dana Zeiss. Ellsworth served as a Marine in the Korean War and was later commissioned and served at the Guided Missile School in El Paso. He was a graduate of the University of Nebraska and an avid "Big Red" fan. His career included work in the Oil & Chemical Industries, President of a media production company, continuing as an investor and advisor. His work included modeling, TV commercials and personal singing engagements. He was a leader in the establishment of protocol, standards and the production of all natural beef. His loves of life included horses and music. Ellsworth was a much loved husband, father and friend. Please consider making a donation in his memory to the . The family will receive relatives and friends on the Thursday, August 28th from 5pm to 7pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford, CT. A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, August 29th, at the Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, in Darien, CT. Interment will be private.
