Annunziata, Philip J.
Philip J. Annunziata, 80, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife, children and grandchildren on November 5, 2013.
Born on January 2, 1933, the son of the late Andrew Annunziata and Levia (DeYulio) Annunziata. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy (Trombetta) Annunziata, his children, Andrew J. Annunziata and wife Phyllis, Darlene Rovegno and Carl Fox, and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Victoria, Ashley and Tyler.
Philip served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a frozen food manager for Palmers Market and also worked as a dispatcher for Armour & Co. Philip was a member of the Springdale VFW Post 9617. He was an avid bocce player for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 914 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 4-8 p.m.
