Frederick Bostel Obituary

Frederick R. Bostel, 84, of Freehold Township, N.J., passed away on Oct. 6, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10:30 a.m. at St Catherine of Siena Chapel on 1 Main St. in Farmingdale, N.J. Fred grew up in Elizabeth, N.J., where he held the position of superintendent of the water and sewer department for more than 25 years. He was a Navy veteran and a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena parish in Farmingdale. Frederick was the son of Henry and Teresa, both deceased. He is survived by his wife, Florence Swick; his daughters, Patricia Cicerone, Ellen Blackmon, Teresa Papayanopolos and Michele Rodriguez; his son, Fred, and stepson, Thomas McNeill, and his sisters, Elizabeth Dopple and Dorothy Wilcox. There are 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
