Robert Tuysuzian Jeffery, 90, of Lakewood, N.J., formerly of Springfield, N.J., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013. Robert graduated from Stuyvesant High School and Pace University in New York City. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Force. Robert then worked for RCA for 30 years, and NBC for 15 years as a legal counsel for special sport and Olympic events. He led his life with remarkable intelligence, loyalty, and grace, which made his family very proud. He was loved tremendously and will be missed sorely. Robert was a devoted husband to Margaret for 63 years, and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Debbie Jeffery, of Brielle, N.J.; his grandsons, Brian and Stephen, and his great-granddaughter, Juliana. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Ed Peterson; nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Rose Fryxell; his father, Charles, and his daughter, Cynthia Jeffery. In accordance with Mr. Jeffery's wishes, all services are private.
