Harrison Peckham Hein, age, 92, of Wilmington, NC passed away February 8, 2013.
Born in Cleveland Ohio on July 13, 1920, he was the son of the late Charles Hein and Mary Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Titgemeyer Hein.
Mr. Hein graduated from Lakewood High School in Cleveland and Yale University. He spent most of his career at Ford Motor Company, and retired as the Controller of the Ford Glass Plant in Nashville, TN. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, active in Big Brothers, Rotary, and United Way. He served as an Elder and Treasurer at the Historic Presbyterian Church of Franklin.
In 1988 he and his wife Mary moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and were both active in the community. Mr. Hein is a member of the Little Chapel on the Boardwalk in Wrightsville Beach, NC .
He is survived by daughters, Cherie Beadle (Larry) Brentwood TN, Kristen Knutsen ( Douglas) Knoxville, TN and Laurie Denham (Michael) Bethesda, MD, grandchildren Malinda, Leslie, Susan, Eric, Stephen and Sarah, great grandchildren Mary Margaret, Lillie and Jack Harrison, and beloved friend Edith Graves.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Andrews Mortuary Market Street, 1617 Market Street, Wilmington, NC, 28401.
