JULIE ANN CURRY Julie Ann Curry, 49, of Wilmington, NC, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Duke University Hospital. She was born on September 17, 1963, in Erie, PA. Julie devoted lots of time and energy to organizing and supporting numerous fundraising activities for several charities including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society and Relay for Life. She was one of the original fundraisers for the initial Relay for Life in Wilmington. Julie was also a volunteer track coach at Hoggard High School. Surviving is her husband, Jeffery Curry; one daughter, Jaime Jackson and husband Shane; one son, Jeremy Curry; her mother, Judy Gmytruk and husband John; her father, Gerald Wolf, Sr.; a sister, Jody Cooke and husband Kent; a granddaughter, Ainsley Jackson; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Patty Curry; special nieces and nephews, Jessica Wolf, Kaitlyn Wolf, Nick Siebel and wife Becki, and Alex and Dalton Cooke. Also remembered is her brother, Gerald E. Wolf, Jr. and sister-in-law, Dina Curry Siebel, both of who preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Monday evening, August 5, 2013 at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel. To honor Julie's spirit and personality the family requests casual attire.
