Pucci, Guy 73, of St. Paul, passed away October 23, following a brief battle with cancer. Guy was born in Acri, Italy on October 4, 1940. He immigrated to St. Paul in the mid-1950s with his family and graduated from Monroe High School in 1959. Guy earned a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. He worked as a Clinical Social Worker at St. Joseph's Home for Children in Minneapolis, for Minneapolis Public Schools and in Private Practice. He was also a co-founder of The Bridge for Runaway Youth in Minneapolis. Throughout his career he worked to better the lives of children. Guy touched the hearts and lives of his family and friends with generous hospitality, good food and laughter. The family is grateful to the care- givers at United Hospital in St. Paul who treated Guy with great skill, kindness and dignity. Guy is survived by his wife, Rosemary Prihoda-Pucci of St. Paul; sons, John (Michelle) of New Orleans, Tony (Rita) of Minneapolis; grandsons, John and Mike Pucci of Minneapolis; mother, Tina; siblings, Angie, Frank and Mary and their families; and many dear friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 28 at The St. Paul College Club, 990 Summit Avenue, St Paul, MN 55105, 651-227-4477. Gather at 1 PM, program at 2 PM.
