Timmerman, Linda Ann age 54, of Mpls. Linda was known for her eclectic pursuits in fields of literature, psychology, medicine and music. An honors graduate of Mpls Patrick Henry High School, she was awarded the National Merit Scholarship Award and went on to become an A student at the University of Minnesota. Married for 7 years, she got divorced. Linda enjoyed the last 22 years of her life as owner of her grandparents home, maintaining a lovely garden, flowers, and vegetables that were shared with family. An avid reader, she provided books for her aunt and mother. Her two pets were very much a part of her life. She loved travels in the United States and twice found her way with friends around England and France. Linda died at North Memorial Hospital on February 4 following the discovery of inoperable lung cancer just four days before. She is preceded in death by her father John Thomas Timmerman and her sister Carol Christine Timmerman. She is the beloved daughter of Florence Puerner Timmerman. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen John (Margo) Timmerman; her aunt, Jessie Puerner Johnson; her nephew, Brian T. G. (Bethany) Timmerman; her great nephew and great niece, August and Nora Timmerman; her loving cousin, Gloria Noren; cousins in Wisconsin; and her good friend, Grant Joly. Private burial was held.
