Muller, Virgil M. Age 83, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully on October 8th. Preceded in death by his parents Ida and Harm, brothers Wayne and Kenny. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances; children, Dana (Susan), Debra (Rob) Gardner and Dawn (Chris) Spragg; grandchildren, Sarah, Leslie and Melissa Muller; Michael and Brady Greer; Corey Geehan; sister Gloria (David) Lindaman; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and family friends. He was born in Aplington, IA and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He attended Iowa State University and the University of Minnesota where he obtained his master's degree in civil engineering. He was an avid environ- mentalist who designed many water treatment facilities worldwide, creating sustainable environments to improve people's quality of life in 3rd world countries. His lifelong hobby was the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing and golfing. A memorial service to be held at 10:30 am, Friday, October 11 at Washburn McReavy-Werness Brothers Chapel, 2300 West Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington with visitation one hour prior to the service.
