Gustner, Vivian L. (nee Stomberg) age 97, of Richfield, formerly of South Minneapolis, passed away on January 15, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband Gerald E. and sister Viola Hedine. Survived by brother Lealan (Kathryn) Stomberg, cousins and many dear friends. Born and raised in Traverse County, MN, she attended school in a rural one-room school in District #7 and was a member of Siloah Lutheran Church in Parnell Township. She graduated from West Central School of Agriculture, Morris, Minnesota (now the University of Minnesota, Morris). Proudly served in the Women's Army Corps for 29 months during WWII. Retired from the City of Minneapolis and was a longtime member of Salem English Lutheran Church. Funeral service Friday, January 18th at 10:30 am at the Morris Nilsen Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
