Alfred H. Ebert, Jr Alfred H. Ebert, Jr., age 83, of Houston, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, the 29th of December 2012. He died peacefully in his home after celebrating Christmas with his beloved family. Al is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Katherine Flythe Ebert; his children, Allison Ebert Wagner and husband Bryan of Fort Worth, Stephanie Ebert Adams, David Grant Ebert, and Andrew Marshall Ebert and wife Anne, all of Austin; and by his grandchildren: Campbell, Caroline, Allie, Lauren and Eliza Wagner; Harrison and Nicho Adams; and Scott, Thomas and Kate Ebert. The memorial service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 4th of January, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Russell J. Levenson, Jr., Rector, and the Rev. Martin J. Bastian, Senior Associate Rector, are to officiate. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent Bagby Parish Hall.
