Beverly E. Williams of Austin died 26 December 2013 at her home at the age of 85. She was born in Petaluma, California and attended the University of Chicago. She lived much of her adult life in Chicago, before relocating to Austin more than 30 years ago. Before retirement she was a departmental secretary at University of Texas, Austin. For many years she was active in animal care activities with the Animal Trustees of Austin.
She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Williams of Sacramento, California and Sara Leasure of Chichester, England; and 2 grandsons, Michael and John Leasure, also of England, and her brother, Paul Ross Elmore of Marshall, California.
