Edgar Paul Seidensticker Edgar "Paul" Seidensticker, 68, of Round Mountain passed away on December 2, 2012. He was born on July 3, 1944 in Burnet, Texas. Paul graduated valedictorian from Burnet High School in 1961. He went on to attend Texas Tech University and Tarleton University before settling at Texas A&M University where he graduated in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Science. Paul married the love of his life, Patricia Gatliff, on August 31, 1963. After graduation he accepted a position as Fisheries Biologist with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. He was well respected in his 32 year long career and made many lifelong friends. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, playing golf, riding through the pasture, and relaxing at the family lake house. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Elizabeth Seidensticker. He is survived by his wife Patricia; son and daughter in law Christopher and Judy Seidensticker of Burnet, Texas; daughter and son in law Cheryl and David Williams of Georgetown, Texas; Mother in law Hazel Gatliff of Burnet, Texas; Granddaughters Jessie Seidensticker, Emma Seidensticker, Rachel Williams; Grandson Reece Williams; Sisters Anne Stewart and Frances Dodds; and Brother Frank Seidensticker. A memorial service to celebrate Paul's life will be Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 2-4pm at the Walnut Methodist Church at 1153 Ranch Road 3347, Round Mountain, Texas 78663.
