Irving Quay "I.Q." Hurdle, Jr., 67, entrepreneur and risk management consultant throughout the world passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Austin, Texas. Survived by wife Deborah Duncan Hurdle, stepson Malfred Duncan, sister Julia and brother-in-law Hilliard Jones, nieces Iamanadette Green and Gnivri Turner. Visitation Friday, January 31st at King-Tears from noon till 5 p.m. Rosary Friday, January 31st from 7-8 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1610 E. 11th Street. Services 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1st at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th Street (off E. 11th & Lydia). Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. I met I.Q. many years ago when I moved to Austin. I am truly sorry to learn today 24 Oct 2022, that he had passed. I knew I have not seen him in a very long long time. He was a good man. RIP my dear brother...G.E. Hogan

I took both Irving and Deb on a guided fishing trip last year and just found out today 5-5-14 of his passing....
So sorry to hear, they were such a blast to fish with!
