Nancy Caldwell Obituary
Nancy Lynn Cunningham Caldwell Nancy Lynn Cunningham Caldwell was born May 27, 1935 to Norman & Eunice Cunningham. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was loved dearly by all who knew her. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Nancy graduated from Austin High School in 1953 and then from the University of Texas in 1957. She married Jim Caldwell in 1960 and reared a beautiful family. Nancy enjoyed a productive career in real estate for many years until retiring with Jim to their beloved ranch near Tuscola in 1985 where she enjoyed writing poetry, creative arts, abundant wildlife and the joy of their grandkids' company. In 2006 she and Jim moved to Georgetown to be closer to family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and by her husband, Jim. Nancy is survived by her son Jim Caldwell, Jr., of Dallas and his wife Lisa; daughters Leanne Clark of Round Rock and her husband Dawson, Nancy Gaye Volding of Richmond and her husband Doug; five grandchildren, Lauren and Trey Caldwell, Drew and Amy Clark, and Katie Volding; and one great-grandson Caden Caldwell. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Monday, July 8 at Haynie Chapel United Methodist Church in Garfield, TX. Funeral services will be held immediately following family visitation at 11:00 a.m. with burial following at the Haynie Chapel Cemetery.
