GROSETH, Theodore Arnold

Theodore Arnold Groseth, age 72, died peacefully on Jan. 24, 2014. Ted spent his fun-filled youth in Minneapolis and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Minnesota. His professional life began in computer sales with Control Data Corp. and spanned 24 years. He earned 22, 100% clubs in his Sales and Management career. Ted was Head of Sales in PanAm/Asia before moving to Austin, finishing his career with Seagate Technology. Ted retired at age 55 and spent many years traveling, boating and playing golf in Lakeway, before his diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia.



He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Nancy, son Brent Groseth and wife Marjorie, St. Augusta, MN, son Brian Groseth and wife Jennifer, Jackson Hole WY, daughter Sanna and husband Steven Scott from Austin, TX. Also 3 cherished grandchildren, Ellen, Caroline and Cade. Three sisters, Karen and Les Wahlstrom of Bellevue, WA, Ginny and Bob Hawkins, St.Louis Park, MN, Nancy and Doug Reuter, Dallas, TX, sister-in-law Carol and John Reynolds of Carnesville, GA, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.



Ted fought the good fight with his diagnosis and with the help of the following people he was able to live his last years in peace. The family would like to thank Dr. Tom Hill, Resolution Hospice, the Gathering at Westlake Presbyterian, Bright Horizons at Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway. We would also like to thank the Breakfast Club boys, Caregiver group at Lakeway Church, Carol who helped care for Ted the last year and numerous friends and neighbors.



A memorial service celebrating Ted's life will be held in Minneapolis, MN. Donations may be made to: Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration Radnor Station #2 Suite 320 290 King of Prussia Rd. Radnor, PA 19087.
