William Rangel Sanchez Obituary
William Rangel Sanchez 1944-2013 Our beloved William (Bill) Rangel Sanchez, age 68, resident of Los Angeles, California, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Houston, Texas on August 6, 1944. William graduate from St. Edward University with a teaching degree. He became a teacher in San Antonio where he taught school for over 30 years. He taught at La Salle High School, Terrell Wells Middle School and McCollum High School. He spent most of his years as a teacher at Terrell Wells Middle School as a Choir Director. During his time as Choir Director his school choir won many local and state awards in various competitions. Bill's passion was music and motion pictures. He enjoyed sharing this passion with others as he taught them about music. He was preceded in death by parents Flavio and Eva Rangel Sanchez; brother Flavio Sanchez Jr.; grandparents Pascual and Maria Rangel. He is survived by brothers Michael and wife Theresa Bernal-Sanchez, Carlos and wife Anna Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, Anthony and wife Elsa Sanchez; sisters Pauline and husband Robert Mitchell, Cecilia Sanchez, Theresa Sanchez, Inez Sanchez; numerous nephews and nieces all of Austin, Texas and life-long friend Efriam Vasquez of Los Angeles, California. Memorial Service on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street.
