Herbert Dieringer Herbert Nelson Dieringer of Manor, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the age of 64. He was born at Schulze Hospital in Schulenburg, Texas on December 12, 1947 to parents Herbert R. and Adela (Kubecka) Dieringer. Herb was raised on his family's farm in Swiss Alp, Texas. Upon graduating from Schulenburg High School in 1966, Herb moved to the big city to attend the University of Texas where he graduated with a BA in Business Administration and subsequently began working at Austin National Bank. Starting his own remodeling business, Big D Enterprises, in 1981, Herb worked hard every day, even up to his final weeks. He was very involved in his community through the Manor Lions Club, Manor School Board, and as a founding member of Knights of Columbus Council 8141. Herb is survived by his wife, Louise (Berger) Dieringer; children, Angie Gilmore and husband, Todd; Brian Dieringer and wife, Gina; Brad Dieringer and wife, Emily; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 with a Vigil and recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home, 4765 Priem Ln, Pflugerville, Texas. A Funeral Mass followed by a burial service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Weimar, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Manor Lions Club, Knights of Columbus 8141, or Hospice Austin.
