Roger A. Sommers

Roger Alan Sommers, age 39, died at home August 17, 2014.

Roger was born October 10, 1974 in Waushara County. William and Marjorie (Williams) Sommers had the privilege adopting and raising Roger. He attended Jackson Elementary and graduated from SPASH.

At a young age, Roger began working in food service. He worked for several local restaurants and grocery- UWSP cafeteria, Sentry, County Market, and his most recent and favorite employer, Polito's Pizza.

Roger will be remembered for his perseverance and his inquisitive nature. He enjoyed the simple things in life and had an extremely kind heart. Roger also had a competitive persona that was expressed though his involvement with our local Special Olympics events. -may all who knew him cherish and revere Roger's natural gift of giving and forgiving.

He is survived by his siblings, Merle Cooney, William Sommers, Christine Geiger, and Timothy Sommers. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and many close and dear friends.

A time of Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of a Remembrance Service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
