Joseph Breckinridge "Breck" Cabell, Jr., 80, passed away suddenly but peacefully on January 27, 2014. He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Breckinridge "Breck" Cabell III. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Elaine Cabell Jones, his son-in-law, Alan Miller Jones, his grandson Breckinridge "Breck" Miller Jones, and his former wife, Elaine Cruthirds Cabell Cooper, all of Gulfport, MS. He was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1951, Tulane University, New Orleans, LA , Class of 1957, where he was member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. President of Jackson family electrical wholesale business, Cabell Electric Co., started in 1919. Jackson Downtown Rotary Club, Paul Harris Fellow, and former President of the U.S. Navy League and Director of the Boy Scouts of America Jackson Council. Services will be be at Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church Chapel, 305 N. Congress St., Jackson, MS, on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church.
