1963 - 2014

Biloxi, MS

John F. Tate, Jr., age 50, of Biloxi, MS, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014, in Biloxi.

Mr. Tate was born in Glasgow, Montana and had been a longtime resident of the MS Gulf Coast. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in D'Iberville. He was of the Methodist faith.

Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his father, John Franklin Tate, and his brother, James E. "Beanie" Tate. He is survived by his life partner, Monique Harrison of Biloxi; sons, James Tate and Damon Harrison of Biloxi; his mother, Judith Adcock of Biloxi; his sister, Jana Anderman, and his niece, Jadi Anderman, of Atlanta, GA; and the mother of James, Tracie Tate of Gulfport.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to The Order of the Moose Charities, 5145 Gay Road, D'Iberville, MS 39540.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 2511 Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
